Sony Ericsson has officially unveiled its Xperia X10 flagship mobile phone – Sony Ericsson Xperia X3 is a great Android mobile phone, which teams a standout eight megapixel camera with a vast four-inch touchscreen and powerful Snapdragon Qualcomm processor.

Previously codenamed the Xperia X3 and the Rachael, the high-end handset stands out for its 8.1 megapixel camera and huge mobile media-optimised four-inch touchscreen.

The handset is also equipped with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon processor to enable users to use multiple functions simultaneously and offers expandable memory and HSDPA support for fast downloads.

Bert Nordberg, President of the mobile phone manufacturer, said: “The XPERIA X10 and the family of phones launching in the first half of 2010 underpin our commitment to an open and multi-platform strategy that maximises choice for the consumer and delivers the best possible consumer experience.”

Sony Ericsson’s move into the burgeoning market for Android mobile phones comes as the company looks to reverse a sustained decline in operating profit fuelled by flagging demand for handsets.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is expected to go on sale early of 2010.
