A spy-picture of the new device から ソニーエリクソン was spotted on the web a few weeks ago. It’s Kurara. ソニーエリクソン Kurara is Entertainment Unlimited device and based on Symbian Foundation platfom (Symbian S60). As you can see from the image, Kurara has a large display. Probably 3.5″ or less. The phone has a 8.1 メガピクセル ルーム. Yet there is no info about annoucement date. Probably release of Sony Ericsson Kurara will be in the first half of 2010.
As previously reported, the Sony Ericsson Kurara is a スマートフォン based on Symbian S60 5th Edition and it should be included in SE’s Entertainment Unlimited line-up (like the Satio and Aino).
The features of Sony Ericsson Kurara apparently include a 3.5 inch AMOLED touchscreen display and an 8.1MP camera (which, judging by the HD seen on the phone’s back, should be able to record video in HD).
In other SE news, it looks like the Swedish-Japanese company is also readying a new Symbian S60 smartphone (like the Satio), currently codenamed Sony Ericsson Kurara.
According to the Semc blog, Kurara is a full-touch handset with a large display (possibly a 3.5 inch one) and an 8.1MP camera. The two photos below are the only ones available at the moment.
注: Kurara is just internal codename, not commercial name. The Kurara should be announced in the first half of 2010, probably under a different name.
