The cutting-edge hybrid iPhone would be compatible with the CDMA and GSM/UMTS systems as opposed to just the GSM/UMTS systems, which is currently the predicament that Apple finds itself in with its current iPhone models.
While no official comment has been provided by Apple or Verizon in response to rumors over the creation of a hybrid, world-mode iPhone, CNet.com is speculating that it would become the most anticipated smartphone to hit the market in history.
